  • What payment options do you offer?
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and others. We do not accept check or money orders. If you choose monthly subscription options 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, you will be charged the full amount upfront. You subscription will renew automatically until you decide to cancel. However, we hope you love the boxes so much that you will not cancel!
  • How do I get my work featured?
    Please email us a picture of your masterpiece to and look out for our posts on IG: @blackishart1804
  • How are BlackishArt Boxes shipped?
    Boxes are sent to the address indicated at sign up. We ship via USPS priority mail.
  • Where do you ship?
    Currently we only ship to the USA. Shipping is $5 to the continental US. Please note that we are unable to ship to PO boxes at this time. We wish we could hand deliver each box, but we have to rely on USPS/ postal carrier. So, we are not responsible for any delays caused by the USPS system. A tracking number will be sent to the email provided. If you need additional assistance, we will do our best to assist you. Please email us at and we will be happy to assist you. You can also us our chat box to speak with customer service.
  • I need to change my address, what do I do?"
    All address changes must be made by the 15th of the month. Please sign in to your account and click the edit button under the shipping address section to change your current address. Adding an address does not automatically change the shipping address, please double check the "subscriptions" section to make sure that your current address is updated. If you need assistance changing your address please contact customer service at
  • What if my box shows delivered but I can't find it.
    We rely on our customers to be able to safely receive their monthly boxes, we are not responsible for replacing boxes that show delivered. We appreciate your understanding. Please check with your postal carrier.
  • What is the cutoff date for subscriptions?
    The cutoff date starts the orders for the following month. It is 10 days before the end of the month. This is standard for almost all subscription companies. Our cutoff date of the 20th at 4pm PST of each month. For instance, if you ordered a BlackishArt Box on January 24th, your first box will be our March box.
  • Is there a Cancellation Policy for subscription boxes?
    You may cancel at any time from your account login. To cancel click the edit button in the "subscription" field. Select the option to cancel. You have the ability to skip renewals easily through your customer profile as well, allowing you to maintain your subscription according to your personal needs. If you've requested a cancellation via email or through our support system they will be processed during normal business hours and thus we strongly recommend managing your subscription through your account to avoid any unwanted renewals. Thank you for your understanding.
  • What is your Refund Policy?
    For subscriptions: Many customers may cancel their subscriptions in order to avoid future renewals, but wish to receive the boxes that have already been paid for. Refunds are not automatically applied due to a cancellation request. For this reason, refunds are not automatically applied upon cancellation- they must be requested. We will provide a refund for your box as long as it's requested before the 15th of the previous month. For example, a refund for May box would need to be requested by the 15th of April. Once the 15th of the month is reached, we prepare your box for shipment and a refund will not be provided. If you're asking for a refund because you didn't cancel you subscription through your account log in time, please note that we will charge a 5% fee to process the refund. Why the fee? We pay a percentage for every credit card that is processed and when you request a refund we do not get it back. If you're requesting a refund for a prepaid subscription you will receive a prorated refund however, we do not provide refunds for any box that has shipped. Other items are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.
  • What if the art mediums destroy my clothing or furniture or I am injured as a result of using the products in the BlackishArt Box?
    We ask that you supervise any child using the products in the BlackishArt Boxes. Please see our indemnification & release of liability clause. The artists/purchaser will release and will hold harmmless the BlackishArt, BlackishArt Box or Pour Etre Joli Events, Inc. from any and all claims arising from any injuries, losses or damages (whether to person or property) caused by the artist/purchaser, merchandise or the artist/purchaser's participation. The artist/purchaser agrees to indemnify Pour Etre Joli Events, Inc., BlackishArt, and BlackishArt Box from any and all expenses arising because of any such claim. BlackishArt, BlackishArt Box and Pour Etre Joli Events, Inc. will not assume liability for any act of God, natural disaster, exposure to adverse weather conditions, damages, injuries, or any legal authority or any cause above and beyond its control.
  • Can I see what's in the box?
    We hope that getting a BlackishArt Box once a month makes you feel like Christmas comes every month. We will occasionally provide sneak peeks of our artists and the box contents; however, we will not make it a practice to expose the contents before its release. BlackishArt Box and affiliates dedicate ourselves to provide you with a full and rich experience while exploring art in all its forms. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for your interest.
